Man! This whelping box from EZ Whelp has been a LIFE-SAVER! From our beautiful litters being born in it to keeping the puppies safe for the critical first weeks of life, this whelping box has saved our butts! Set up is a breeze. The pieces go together easily and are sturdy. We designed our own one time out of wood but the pups easily damaged it when they got it wet. I love this idea better. It provides the correct size for whelping pads to be thrown down on top of the included waterproof mat that it sits on. It's easy to use and keep sanitized. I have also added heating lamps to the top of it to keep pups at the right temperature. I don't think we could live without it!
